What Ontario is doing

It’s not a question of whether we should do something. We have already started.

We have a duty to our children to leave Ontario better than we found it.

Addressing environmental challenge of climate change also offers us economic opportunity. As a province with a strong manufacturing sector, plenty of natural resources, and a smart, educated, skilled workforce, there are opportunities for Ontario to prosper and grow in the new green economy.

    Ontario’s Action Plan on Climate Change will improve the way we live and travel in southern and central Ontario, how we heat and light our homes, and will encourage businesses and industries to think green. (more..)

  • Adapting To Climate Change
    The effects of climate change are already being felt.  Weather patterns, water levels and growing seasons are changing in many places.  Even as we work to address the causes of climate change, we need to change the way we do things to deal with the impacts of a changing climate. (more…)
