The information available below will show you how to protect yourself and your family during an emergency.

You should be prepared to take care of yourself and your family for up to three days (72 hours) during an emergency or a disaster. The following links provide information on how to prepare for an emergency.

Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Canada has a lot of materials, guides and information on how to best prepare your family for an emergency.

Check out Manitoba’s Emergency Measures Organization’s Family Emergency Handbook – a comprehensive booklet that includes basic first aid information and emergency checklists.
