Katie is the coolest babysitter ever! It seems like there's nothing she can't do! Have you ever seen someone make beads out of old magazines? Well that's Katie's specialty, and she makes amazing jewelry that you would think she bought at the mall!

In fact, almost all of the arts and crafts materials that Katie uses are things that other people would recycle, compost, or throw in the garbage. Her room is filled with jewelry boxes, notebooks, stationary, and even clothes, that she's made herself from used materials.

Katie also loves to read celebrity gossip magazines, so lots of people she knows give her their magazines once they're done reading them. And after Katie's done with them, she either passes them along to someone else, or reuses every single page to make... well... just about anything!

She's really into math and business at school, because she plans to start her own recycled-products company after she graduates from high school and university.
