SUDBURY — On September 8, 2009, Ernie’s Signs Limited pleaded guilty to failing to comply with an item of a Provincial Officer Order.
The Order required the company to attain approval to operate a paint spray booth at its sign shop in Sudbury. The Provincial Officer Order was not complied with and the company was charged following an investigation by the ministry’s Investigations and Enforcement Branch. The company was fined $3,000 plus a victim fine surcharge and was given 15 days to pay. A Court Order was also issued requiring the company to obtain a Certificate of Approval to operate a paint spray booth within 90 days.
