Lake Simcoe Subwatersheds

Interactive Google Earth map layers provide key information on the Lake Simcoe watershed and current monitoring efforts. The map layers display the subwatersheds of the Lake Simcoe watershed and provide place-based information for residents. The layers also have information on monitoring stations, locations of sewage and water treatment plants, and land use information (e.g. vegetation and wetland cover). The map layers will be updated as the Lake Simcoe Protection Plan is implemented.

To view the map layers you must use Google Earth. It can be downloaded free at http://earth.google.com/download-earth.html. For those who do not wish to download the application, this watershed website has links to vital information.
