Program or Service Description:
The primary function of the Wells Help Desk is to provide front-line customer service to any person or organization (including well contractors, well technicians, the general public, real estate agents, lawyers, ground water consultants, ministry personnel, municipalities, and industry) who have questions regarding wells in general, have an interest in obtaining well information, completed well records, and other materials associated with wells (i.e. well tags, blank well record forms, and home owner package), obtaining information on licensing associated with well construction activities, submission of completed well records, reporting information on poor water quality and seeking advice on follow-up actions for their well, and questions on the regulatory requirements set out under Regulation 903 (Wells) under the Ontario Water Resources Act.

We are committed to the OPS service principles (i.e., accessible, responsive, reliable, caring, accountable; consistent, predictable, transparent, continuous improvement) and OPS common service standards (i.e., response times to general phone calls, mail, email, fax) as outlined in the ministry's service charter.

- Provide front line customer service to the public, clients and industry who have inquiries about wells in general, and Regulation 903 under the Ontario Water Resources Act
- All calls will be responded to within one business day
- All emails will be returned within 15 business days
