Water Well Records & Data Distribution Service Standards

Program or Service Description:

Client service representatives in the Water Well and MISA Data Reporting Unit, Environmental Monitoring and Reporting Branch, provide well records and well record data to members of the public on request. Requests come in via fax or email from members of the public (primarily well contractors, realtors lawyers, and consulting companies). The response includes the requested data or, if data is not found, a “no data” notification. No acknowledgement of receipt of request for information is provided prior to the completion of the data search.

Overall:

We are committed to the OPS service principles (i.e., accessible, responsive, reliable, caring, accountable; consistent, predictable, transparent, continuous improvement) and OPS common service standards (i.e., response times to general phone calls, mail, email, fax) as outlined in the ministry's service charter.
