Staff from the Water Well and MISA Data Reporting Unit, Environmental Monitoring and Reporting Branch are responsible for reviewing applications and issuing new and renewed well technician licenses, well contractor licenses, and assistant well technician I.D. cards

We are committed to the OPS service principles (i.e., accessible, responsive, reliable, caring, accountable; consistent, predictable, transparent, continuous improvement) and OPS common service standards (i.e., response times to general phone calls, mail, email, fax) as outlined in the ministry's service charter.
Program or Service-specific Standards:
- Notify an applicant of an incomplete application within 5 business days
- Process complete applications within 25 business days
- Process applications which require further investigation within 75 business days
