Use this search application to get the results of your vehicles' previous emissions test(s).
A Drive Clean pass is valid for one year from its date of issue to renew a vehicle's registration or transfer its ownership.
The pass certificate must be valid on the day your registration expires or – for late renewals or vehicle transfers – it must be valid on the date of the transaction.
Your heavy-duty diesel vehicle may qualify for a one-year test exemption. For more information, visit the heavy-duty FAQ page.
The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) can be located in the following places:
- on the "Statement of Compliance" label in the driver's door opening – if it's the original door
- on the vehicle dashboard
- on the vehicle ownership certificate issued by the Ministry of Transportation
- on the vehicle insurance information (pink form) issued by your insurance company
