Find a Test Facility
Notes about the form:
"Motorhome" refers to motorhomes with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of less than or equal to 4,500kg. If your motorhome is heavier, choose “Heavy Duty Vehicle.”
Mobile Test Units (which can travel to perform tests) will be included if you search for “Heavy-Duty Vehicle” testing facilities.
"Alternative" fuel: If your light-duty vehicle is fuelled by propane or natural gas, any facility can test your vehicle. However, if you are searching for a facility that repairs these vehicles, choose “Alternative” as your fuel type.
To find two-speed idle tailpipe test facilities, be sure to choose:
- Vehicle type: "Light Duty Vehicle"
- Model year: "1997" or older*
- Fuel type: "Gasoline"
*If you specify a more recent model year from the pulldown list, the results will also include facilities that do not provide the tailpipe test.
If the search tool states: “No facility found that matches your search criteria,” redo your search with a wider radius in the “Range of search in the map” field.
