Showcasing Water Innovation is the province’s program to fund leading edge, innovative and cost-effective solutions for managing drinking water, wastewater and stormwater systems in Ontario communities.

About the program
The program makes $17 million available over three years. for a limited number of projects that communities across Ontario and abroad can learn from and be inspired by.
It complements Ontario’s Water Opportunities Act by fostering innovation, creating opportunities for economic development and protecting water resources.
Under the Showcasing Water Innovation program, the province is funding projects that:
- take an integrated and sustainable approach to solve water management challenges
- use new and innovative approaches and technologies
- produce results that can be easily used by other communities
- create partnerships that highlight the benefits of collaboration.
Application Information
The closing date for applications was June 24, 2011. Applicants will be notified about the status of their submission by fall 2011 or earlier.
