The Environmental Activity and Sector Registry (EASR) allows businesses to register certain activities with the ministry, rather than apply for an approval. The registry is available for routine systems and processes, to which preset rules of operation can be applied.
The registry is currently available for:
- heating systems
- standby power systems
- automotive refinishing facilities
As of November 18, 2012, the registry is also available for:
- small ground-mounted solar facilities
- commercial printing facilities
- non-hazardous waste transportation systems
To access the registry, go to Service Ontario’s One-Source for Business portal and create a One-Source profile and an MOE account.
