Use these resources to help you design and implement a practical and effective waste-reduction work plan that will help you work most effectively with your tenants and service providers.

Once you’ve reviewed the Guide to Waste Audits and Waste Reduction Work Plans for the Industrial, Commercial and Institutional Sectors, as well as the Guide to Source Separation of Recyclable Materials for Industrial, Commercial and Institutional Sectors and Multi-unit Residential Buildings, use the Waste Audit (Word file) and Waste Reduction Work Plan (Word file) forms to help guide you through the process.

You are required to document this information under Ontario Regulation 102/94 and to make it available to the Ministry of the Environment if requested. Update these documents annually.

Office buildings that do not fall under this regulation can still use these templates to guide waste-reduction planning efforts.
