Keeping the Lake Simcoe community informed, involved and up-to-date on our efforts to protect Lake Simcoe is an important part of the Lake Simcoe Protection Plan. Some of the ways we're engaging and working with the community:

Be a part of decision-making
We want everyone to help develop and implement key pieces of the government's plan to protect lake Simcoe. The following public notices relate to past and present documents available for comment on Ontario's Environmental Registry. Read more about each by searching for the appropriate registry number. We will list additional opportunities to comment in the section below as they are available.

Water-quality trading
Please read the following material for information on water-quality trading and recent related provincial government actions:

It provides an overview of a feasibility study that the Province conducted to examine water quality trading as a potential tool to reduce phosphorus loading in the Lake Simcoe watershed.
