Minister Bradley joins Federal Environment Minister Kent in Burlington, announcing funding for the Randle Reef clean-up. Funding for the project includes $46.3M from the province, $46.3M from the federal government and an additional $46.3 million from local municipal and industry.

The sediment clean-up project at Randle Reef will improve water quality and help ensure the health of the harbour's natural habitat, and it's one of the last major actions needed to deal with this Great Lakes Area of Concern.

We are pleased that the hard work, and dedication of all of our partners and we look forward to working with them to finish the job and remove Hamilton Harbour from the list of Great Lakes hotspots.
