On Monday, October 18, 2010, the Honourable John Wilkinson, Ontario Minister of the Environment was the keynote speaker at the Recycling Council of Ontario’s Waste Reduction Week Launch Breakfast, held at the silver LEED-certified Allstream Centre in Toronto.
Waste Reduction Week aims to inform and engage Ontarians about the environmental and social ramifications of wasteful practices. It strives to educate, engage and empower Ontarians to reduce, reuse and recycle waste.
The Recycling Council of Ontario (RCO) is a not-for-profit, membership-based organization involved in policy, education and project work around the issues of consumption, waste generation, reduction and diversion, and recycling.
