Full Survey: Survey of the Occurrence of Pharmaceuticals and Other Emerging Contaminants in Untreated Source and Finished Drinking Water in Ontario
Description: In 2005-2006, the Ontario Ministry of the Environment (MOE) conducted a survey on selected pharmaceuticals and other contaminants of emerging concern to determine their levels and occurrence in untreated source and finished drinking water in Ontario. A secondary objective of the survey was to estimate the overall effectiveness of drinking water systems in Ontario in reducing the levels of pharmaceuticals from source water.
