Description: The purpose of this Protocol is to identify the Ontario Ministry of the Environment requirements regarding delineation of wellhead protection areas around municipal groundwater supply wells where there may be a need for restrictions on certain types of land use and/or introduction of other measures to prevent and manage risks from human activities relating to the use, manufacture, production, storage, and release of biological or chemical contaminants.
