Pesticide Concentrations in the Don and Humber River Watersheds (1998 - 2000) December 2002
Description: The objective of the study was to determine whether the pesticides and fertilizers used on urban lawns in the City of Toronto could be measured in surface waters of the Don and Humber Rivers, and in some of their tributaries, to attempt to determine spatial and temporal trends in concentrations and to identify possible environmental concerns by comparing ambient concentrations to available federal and provincial water quality criteria.
