Description: This “Guideline for the Implementation of Air Standards in Ontario” (GIASO) outlines Ontario’s risk-based decision making process for dealing with implementation issues related to updating air standards and air dispersion models. This document provides guidance on the information required to be submitted in support of a request for an altered air standard and sets out the Ministry of the Environment’s Risk Framework for Air Standards.
