Description: Ontario has more than a quarter of a million lakes, rivers and streams, and abundant groundwater supplies. Our fresh water is naturally plentiful but we cannot take our water for granted. We are working hard to protect its quality and ensure there is a better understanding of what is at stake — to continue to provide clean, reliable and safe drinking water for our children and grandchildren.
