Across Ontario, there are many examples of companies, organizations, communities and individuals that have gone above and beyond what's required by environmental legislation, often using innovative and unique approaches to reduce their impact on the environment.
The Minister's Award for Environmental Excellence recognizes outstanding environmental achievement and encourages others to emulate these efforts to reduce their impact on Ontario’s environment.
In recognition of these outstanding efforts, candidates chosen for an award will receive a plaque, be allowed to use the program wordmark on promotional materials and have the opportunity to have their success story featured on the Ministry's website.
