Course Outline and Modules
The toxic substance reduction planner course is made up of 11 modules (listed below), including both online and in-class training.
The online portion of the training is essential to successfully completing the training program and examination. Applicants accepted into the toxic substance reduction planner program will receive a confirmation email explaining how to access the online portion of the training. Participants will have at least two weeks to complete the online training before the start of the in-class training.
The online modules must be completed prior to the in-class training. An online certificate of completion is available at the end of the online training. Participants must present a print-out of that certificate on the first in-class day to verify that they have completed the online modules.
Using case studies and exercises, the instructor-led in-class training will focus on reinforcing and applying knowledge gained through the online component.
