The Provincial Water Quality Monitoring Network (PWQMN) collects stream-water quality information from over 400 locations across Ontario. Stream-water quality monitoring helps us understand the influences of land use activities on water quality. Samples are collected by the ministry and its partners - Ontario's Conservation Authorities.
