Ontario's Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Program collects and diverts 44 materials including computers, monitors, printers, fax machines, televisions, telephones and cameras. (See the complete list on Ontario Electronic Stweardship's site.)

Since the program began in 2009, more than 67,000 tonnes of electronics have been diverted from landfill.

The program, which is operated by Ontario Electronic Stewardship (OES) and financed by industry, provides more than 900 collection sites and events across Ontario.
