Sample contaminant details:
Two samples were taken on September 18, 2003, and both indicated the presence of pseudomonas sp.

Resampling details and results:
The operator has increased chlorination and resampled on September 23, 2003. Results pending.

MOE Role:
The ministry conducted an Inspection at this facility in March, 2001, and made a number of recommendations to the facility, including the need to maintain minimum chlorine residuals.

This drinking water system is subject to the requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act and the Drinking Water Systems Regulation, and is categorized as a Non-Municipal Year-Round Residential System.

Ministry staff, in consultation with the health unit, will be ensuring that proper corrective action will be taken.

Background (if there is a history of the site):
A Boil Water Advisory was issued May 30, 2002, by the Northwestern Health Unit, due to heterotrophic plate count exceedance. The advisory was rescinded on January 28, 2003.
