Sample contaminant details:
> 80 Total coliforms, 0 E. Coli. A Boil Water Advisory was issued on January 23, 2002, and remains in effect as a precautionary measure.

Resampling details and results:
Re-samples since January 23, 2002, have indicated periodic exceedances of the Ontario Drinking Water Quality Standards.

MOE Role:
A Ministry compliance inspection was conducted on January 14, 2004, and as a result a Provincial Officer Order was issued to the residents of Lutterworth Pines requiring compliance with the applicable legislation.

Ministry staff are preparing a Safe Drinking Water Act, Section 114 Director=s Order which would require the municipality to operate and maintain the water works.

Background (if there is a history of the site):
The system consists of a drilled well, a buried reservoir and a homemade chlorine drip system. Chlorine residuals are inadequate.
