Sample that the Boil Water Advisory was based on was collected by the Public Health Inspector under the Public Health Act.

Sample contaminant details:
Raw water tested positive for E. coli and treated water contained a total coliform level of 11 cfu / 100 ml.

Resampling details and results:
Resampling will be initiated once the chlorination system has been repaired.

MOE Role:
This drinking water system is subject to the requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act and the Drinking Water Systems Regulation. This system is a designated facility.

Ministry staff in consultation with the health unit, will ensure that follow-up sampling is conducted when the repair work is completed.
