Incident Resolution:
Pending. The Porcupine Health Unit issued a Boil Water Advisory dated June 21, 2006.
According to the public health inspector, the BWA was issued because, to the best of the health unit's knowledge, the camp was not meeting the requirements of O.Reg. 170/03.
The Boil Water Advisory remains in effect. The public health inspector indicated that to lift the BWA, he will require written correspondence from an Engineer or MOE indicating the system meets the requirements of O.Reg. 170/03, as well as, a series of acceptable sample results.

The owner was contacted on June 28, 2006, and provided a copy of the completed Engineering Evaluation Report to the inspector.
The local Health Unit and Ministry staff will continue to work closely with the owner of the system to protect public health, and to ensure that a safe potable water supply is maintained for the users of this system.
