MOE Role:
The local Health Unit and Ministry staff will continue to work closely with the owner of the system to protect public health, and to ensure that a safe potable water supply is maintained for the users of this system.
Background (if there is a history of the site):
- A Boil Water Advisory was issued on June 24, 2004, due to the presence of Total Coliform in the drinking water sample.
- There were two (2) previous adverse water quality events reported to the ministry due to the detection of total coliform and total coliform background.
- The system also reported high sodium levels in July 2003.
