Re-sampled on October 18, 2006. Results pending.
MOE Role:
MOE spoke with the owner and the health unit on October 18, 2006. The health unit was satisfied with the corrective actions being taken by the owner at that time. On October 19, 2006 the health unit issued a Boil Water Advisory.
The local Health Unit and Ministry staff will continue to work closely with the owner of the system to protect public health, and to ensure that a safe potable water supply is maintained for the users of this system.
Background (if there is a history of the site):
Since January 1, 2006 there have been 3 AWQIs at this site, including the current incident. The previous 2 AWQIs were for HPC, which is no longer a reportable parameter.
