“Green” Facts About Shared Air Summit 2007

The 2007 Shared Air Summit program was printed by RP Graphics, an eco- and FSC-certified printing company, on two 11” x 17” sheets of 100% recycled and 100% post-consumer waste, chlorine-free, FSC-certified paper using vegetable inks. All other documents at the event were stored on a reusable USB memory stick.

Shared Air Summit 2007 was a waste-free event. The Metro Toronto Convention Centre is a waste-free facility: all products, all materials that are coming into that event, or make up that event, were collected, separated and recycled. No products or materials ended up in a landfill site.

In addition, the 2007 Summit was an emissions-neutral event made possible through the donation of Verified Emissions Reductions that will come from the Ripley Wind Power Project in Ontario by Suncor Energy Products, Inc. and Acciona Wind Energy Canada Inc. CantorCO2e (Canada) Company brokered the transaction.
