This site provides information about non-compliant discharges - discharges of comtaminants to air and water that exceed legal allowable limits - from industrial and municipal facilities that are regulated by the Ministry of the Environment.
The table is a matrix of the 22 Ministry of the Environment district and area offices, and 13 groups and sectors:
- The first column presents all discharges to air, regardless of the sectors to which facilities belong.
- The second two columns address municipal sewage treatment facilities. First those that are subject to legal limits (non-compliance), second those that are measured against the ministry's policies and guidelines for treatment of sewage (non-conformance).
- The fourth column presents industries that are subject to legal limits other than Municipal Industrial Strategy for Abatement (MISA) clean water regulations.
- The remaining columns present facilities that are subject to clean water regulations, according to the sectors to which they belong.
