The Moira River

The Moira River systemThe Moira River runs through the middle of the Deloro Mine Site. It enters the property along the northern boundary, leaves the property at the southwest corner, and drains into Lake Ontario at Belleville. The Moira River system has historically been affected by contaminants from the Deloro Mine Site- the result of 100 years of mining, refining and manufacturing activities.
