Figure 5 displays box plots comparing percentiles of PM2.5 levels measured by the Mobile AQI Unit with Dorset and Tiverton for the period July 1 to 25, 2001.

For the Mobile AQI Unit, the 2nd percentile was 0.1 micrograms per cubic metre, the 25th percentile was 1.3 micrograms per cubic metre, the 75th percentile was 8.2 micrograms per cubic metre, the 98th percentile was 28.2 micrograms per cubic metre and the median was 4.6 micrograms per cubic metre.

At the Dorset site, the 2nd percentile was 0.4 micrograms per cubic metre, the 25th percentile was 1.3 micrograms per cubic metre, the 75th percentile was 8.5 micrograms per cubic metre, the 98th percentile was 30.8 micrograms per cubic metre and the median was 3.8 micrograms per cubic metre.

At the Tiverton site, the 2nd percentile was 0.1 micrograms per cubic metre, the 25th percentile was 1.7 micrograms per cubic metre, the 75th percentile was 10.2 micrograms per cubic metre, the 98th percentile was 31.1 micrograms per cubic metre and the median was 7.1 micrograms per cubic metre.
