Brant County received $92,509 from the MOE, or 70 percent of the total cost of the study ($130,810). The study began in March 2000, and was completed in late 2001. Major study activities included the following: a hydrogeological assessment, which involved installation of test wells, and monitoring of groundwater levels and quality; a contaminant source inventory; and a public awareness program. Sensitive areas had been delineated previously by the County; these were updated in the PWPF study. For more information on this study please contact the county, municipality or township at (519) 449-2451. Executive Summary |
