MUNICIPALITY OF CENTRE HASTINGS
HAMLETS OF CROOKSTON, FULLER,
IVANHOE, MOIRA AND ROSLIN
GROUNDWATER MANAGEMENT STUDY

The Municipality of Centre Hastings received $20,985 from the MOE for its PWPF study, or 79 percent of the total cost of the study ($26,500). The PWPF study began in September 2000, and was completed in March 2001. Major study activities included the following: private well sampling; contaminant information gathering; suggestions for remediation; a hydrogeological assessment; an assessment of future water demands; potential options for remediation of water quality and quantity problems; and assessment of groundwater management practices and available funding mechanisms.
