Groundwater Management Study
Township of East Luther/Grand Valley

The Township of East Luther-Grand Valley received $90,786 from the MOE for its PWPF study, or 84 percent of the total cost of the study ($108,479). The PWPF study began in January 2000, and was completed in October 2001. Major project activities included the following: development of a groundwater characterization and groundwater resource assessment; completion of a water budget; delineation of capture zones; inventory of contaminant sources; an aquifer vulnerability assessment; and a review of groundwater management strategies.
