Eastern Ontario 2002 Groundwater Management Study

The Eastern Ontario study is co-led by the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry, and the United Counties of Prescott & Russell. The counties received $456,511 from the MOE for the study. The study components include delineating wellhead protection areas at 33 municipal wells. Additional study components include assessing potential contaminant sources in the wellhead protection areas.

The Eastern Ontario study partners are not undertaking groundwater and aquifer characterization studies as these were completed with assistance from the Provincial Water Protection Fund.
