Groundwater Management Study Town of Exeter

The MOE provided the Town of Exeter with a grant of $159,384 or 82 percent of the total cost of the study ($194,063). The study commenced in the winter of 2000 and was completed in May 2001. As part of the PWPF study, a groundwater flow model was developed and used to delineate well capture zones, groundwater travel time, and the potential impacts from surrounding land uses. The study also identified sources of potential contamination in the wellhead protection areas, and overall groundwater strategy was presented in the Town of Exeter’s PWPF study.
