Town of Minto Groundwater Management Study |

The Town of Minto received $133,411 from the MOE for its PWPF study, 86 percent of the total cost of the study ($154,500). The PWPF study commenced in January 2000, and was completed in November 2001. Major study activities included the following: a groundwater assessment; groundwater modeling; a contaminant source assessment; and, an aquifer vulnerability assessment. The study also produced a water budget and examined water use and land use planning. Priorities for implementation of groundwater protection measures were identified.
