Township of Wellington North Groundwater Management Study

The Township of Wellington North received $152,859 from the MOE for its PWPF study, or 84 percent of the total cost of the study ($181,500). The PWPF study began in winter, 2000, and was completed in November 2001. Major study activities included the following: a groundwater resource assessment; development of a water budget; a water use assessment; groundwater modeling; a contaminant source assessment; and an assessment of groundwater management strategies.
