PHASE II
GROUNDWATER PROTECTION STUDY
COUNTY OF OXFORD

The County of Oxford received $421,021 from the MOE for its PWPF study, 52 percent of the total cost of the study ($804,551). The PWPF study commenced in June 1999, and was completed in March 2001. The PWPF study delineated wellhead capture zones, groundwater recharge areas, and area of groundwater susceptibility. Additionally, it updated previous studies, provided comprehensive coverage of sensitive lands, and identified a number of contaminant sources in the County. Potential contaminant sources were also mapped.
