Southwest/Central Groundwater Chemistry StudyThe Ambient Chemical Characterizing of Regional Aquifers within Southwestern and Central Ontario study is led by Upper Thames River Conservation Authority. The conservation authority received $474,472 from the MOE for the study. The purpose of the study is to assess the relationships of water quality, and contrast individual naturally occurring inorganic and organic parameters with the geology along groundwater flow paths. The work will include:
The following municipalities and regions are included in the study area: Brant, Bruce, Chatham-Kent, Dufferin, Durham, Elgin, Essex, Grey, Haldimand, Halton, Hamilton, Huron, Kawartha, Lambton, Middlesex, Niagara, Norfolk, Northumberland, Oxford, Peel, Perth, Peterborough, Simcoe, Toronto, Waterloo, Wellington and York.
